The Bible is God's love letter to His children. The Word of God is a lamp to guide our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). The Word of God is alive and well (living and active), sharper that any two-edged sword. It pierces deep, separating spirit, joints and marrow, judging a person's thoughts and desires (Hebrews 4:12). His Word equips us for spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:17).
His Word is inspired by God, for teaching, correcting and training (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Faith come by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We are sanctified (made holy) by the truth, whichis the Word of God (John 17:17). Physical food alone cannot sustain us, we need the Word of God daily (Matthew 4:4).
The Word was with God from the beginning of time, and the Word is God (John 1:1-2), they are one (John 10:30). His Word accomplishes that which He pleases and never returns void (empty/unfulfilled) and prospers (Isaiah 55:11).
